Sharpak Healthcare

Infection control products in safe, creative hands

Sharpak® represents the most comprehensive range of infection control products on the market today, with the company serving the medical and hospital markets in the UK and overseas.

So no small matter to be commissioned to design and build the current Sharpaks website, following many years of producing valuable advisory print material, alongside B2B promotional material.

Working closely with specialist printers we also produced and updated an extensive library of highly regulated product labels that were used around the globe.

Jubilee Place

Shopping around for exceptional retail publications

Jubilee Place is an underground shopping mall on the south side of Canary Wharf, in London’s docklands. We produced a seasonal publication to highlight the latest fashion and gifts available from the many and varied retailers. Each stylish publication was thoughtfully curated and designed to reflect the high end shopping offer.

In Care, In Schools

An education pack with a difference

We were asked to produce the printed material for ‘In Care, In School’ to support a series of films produced by Suited & Booted for the Bath Spa University’s School of Education.

‘In Care, In School’ was a learning resource for teachers and pupils to help school communities understand what it means to be in care and at school. It was developed by young people in care, and care leavers, through the Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES) In Care Council, supported by the local authority, Bath Spa University,  ASDAN, Buttle UK, the PSHE Association, The Who Cares? Trust, VisionWorks for schools, the National Union of Teachers and a range of other local and national partners.

We used our paper engineering skills (!) to design a bespoke card folder with spine, and four A4 booklets; an overview, a staff training and support guide, plus booklets for primary and secondary schools. We also managed the print production. In addition, we designed the DVD Rom interface, managed the programming of the DVD Roms, as well as the DVD faces. The literature was well received and made available for purchase. Following a rounding-up meeting an email was circulated by Richard Parker, the then Director of the Centre for Education Policy in Practice, stating that ‘they well deserved that round of applause for the quality of their work – they are stunning!’. We’ll take that thank you Richard!

Holiday Inn Winchester

Creating an overnight success in print and press

Experienced in hotel openings, we became involved in the £16.5m 4-star star hotel, two miles from Winchester, at the point where the sales and marketing operation was being run from a portakabin. Our role was to realise the ideas of the in-house team to encourage the local community, business travellers and tourists to use the hotel from day one.

From menus to wedding packs, seating plans to stationery, press ads to leaflets, we helped bring the hotel, one of the first ‘new generation’ Holiday Inns, to life. Scarily meticulous organisation and co-ordination ensured that the restaurant, the bar, meeting and banqueting, and every hotel room had all the correct print material, and the trade magazines and directories had their ads and editorial.
